You wake up from a dream in a colorful and magical land, far, far away. This young mustang stallion has just crested a hill and is pausing there. You notice that he is sporting a unique red starburst on his forehead. Lionheart looks out over his domain. He has kindness and strong courage wrapped up together in his heart. He knows he is destined to be a gentle and great leader.
Lionheart has just left the herd of his origin. He is looking for a band of his own mares to look after. He is looking for his tribe.
But for now, he is on his own and deciding where to go. The one thing he wants us to remember is that acting kindly IS a form of courage.
Kindness is something that we can learn by observing horses interacting with each other in a stable herd. Being kind to yourself is as important as being kind to others. And it is easy to forget.
