Collective Equine Art Gallery is a Dream Come True
There’s a unique, new equine art gallery coming to the Northeast Minneapolis Art District. Located in Studio 222 of the vibrant Northrup King Building, Gallery Equus is the Midwest’s first gallery showcasing solely equine fine art. The dream of founding member, Deneena Hughes, has become a reality. She is collaborating with fellow equine artists in the region. Together, they bring a remarkable and diverse collection of quality art with the subject matter of horses as it’s common thread, to the gallery.
Deneena was inspired by a gallery in up state New York that represents equine fine artists around the world. She has formed a creative collective of both established and emerging equine artists from the Midwest. By doing so, she gives them a greater voice and platform, while creating a location for horse lovers and equine art collectors to enjoy the art in person. Gallery Equus is the first equine art gallery of its kind in the Midwest.
